Amel is an entrepreneur, ecosystem builder. She is Founder of Betacube a tech venture builder. She is founder and former president of TunisianStartups, the association giving a voice to Tunisian startups. She is also non executive board member in startups. She is an innovation and digital transformation activist acting for instance as a board member for the Digital Center of Excellence of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and as Tunisia steering committee member for Digital Arabia Network, a platform supporting the digital transformation in the Arab world. She has acted as member of the StartupAct “College of Startups” for the first three years of its operation. She also a member of the BMW Responsible Leaders Network. She acted as a strategy and innovation consultant and worked with various international cooperation players. Prior to that she has acted in different sales and client relationship management roles with some of the largest multinationals (Microsoft, Siemens, Nokia Siemens) Amel is an engineer in electro-technics, qualified from the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany, she also holds a Master’s of Science in Business in Digital Economy from the University of Maryland.

Wiem is a distinguished professional with over nine years of experience driving impactful civil society initiatives both nationally and internationally. As the Head of Strategy & Innovation Consulting at Betawaves, a Pan-African Venture Studio specializing in early-stage tech startups building across Africa & MENA region, she has excelled in corporate innovation strategies and fostering regional entrepreneurial initiatives for startup founders. Her expertise encompasses strategic guidance for venture building, program design, project management, and partnership development for tech startups, NGOs and corporate partners. Founder of the Youth4Change grassroots movement, she has successfully led more than 50 social initiatives empowering youth and catalyzing community change. With deep commitments to sustainable development, meaningful youth engagement, and social entrepreneurship, Wiem has excelled in roles that merge civil society, youth leadership, and social innovation. A champion for youth voice at the forefront of decision-making processes, Wiem has served on various youth advisory boards, including the Youth Advisory Board for the AU-EU Youth Action Lab, the Youth Sounding Board with the Danish Arab Partnership Program and the Youth Action Team with CIVICUS Alliance, where she has consistently advocated for funding mechanisms to support informal youth groups and leveraging technology and social entrepreneurship to advance civil society impact. With a research master degree in management of organisations, her academics include studying social entrepreneurship at the University of Connecticut. She has trained and mentored thousands of young people across the MEA region through collaborating with several international organizations. Her insights have been shared at international forums like the UN ECOSOC Youth Forum and the International Civil Society Week. Her expertise and contributions have been recognized globally, including her selection as a fellow in the One Million Leaders MENA Initiative by NELIS and her recognition among the Top 20 Young Outstanding People (TYOP) worldwide by JCI International. Mahmoud is a leading corporate innovation at Betawaves and managing its partnerships in the GCC region. showcasing his expertise in forging valuable connections and driving business growth. In his role as Marketplace Manager at Lamma, he spearheaded launching strategies, managed a field sales team, and successfully created and managed client portfolios. Notably, he has supported various startups through incubation and acceleration programs in sales. Mahmoud also had the chance to manage a sales team with Adevnita an norwegian company in Tunisia. And to be part of an international French Sales team in home appliances.
